Pigment Laser, also called Q-switch lasers or ultra-short pulse lasers, operate in a very narrow frequency, and are very, very fast and safe.
Medlite C6 Q-switched Nd: YAG laser technology is used to gently break up the pigment particles in tattoos gradually.
A topical numbing cream is first applied over the treatment area.
It takes 5 to 30 mins, depending on the size of the tattoo.
Scabs formed post-treatment take about a week to exfoliate. This procedure can be done at lunchtime or between errands and work appointments.
The number of sessions necessary for complete removal depends on the age, depth and colours of the tattoo, and the patient’s healing process.
