WHAT DOES IT TREAT?
Age spots, moles, brown or dark spots (Melasma, Lentigines, Freckles, Nevus of Ota, Hori’s Nevus) caused by excessive sun exposure.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Laser energy is directed at the pigment spots to disperse clusters of melanin cells by photoacoustic action.
WILL I FEEL ANY DISCOMFORT?
No. A topical numbing cream is first applied to the treatment area, and you may experience a warm, prickling sensation.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
It takes 30 mins.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
You may experience redness or flushing, and scabs that form post-treatment usually fall off over a few days. Also, avoid sun exposure for the next 3 days. This procedure can be done at lunchtime or between errands.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
Optimum results can be enjoyed between 2 to 6 sessions, depending on the extent and type of pigmentation.
